Software & Systems Quality Conference Germany


The Software & Systems Quality Conference (SQC) is Europe’s leading conference on software quality management, testing and process optimisation. Its continued growth since the first conference in 1996 bears testimony to the importance which IT managers and specialists attach to it. Besides conferences in Ireland, UK, Australia and Switzerland the SQC Germany offers a wide platform for professional exchange of experiences as reflected by the 800 plus delegates who attended the 2008 conference at the Congress Center Dusseldorf.
From 26 to 29 May 2009, SQC will offer industry specialists a combination of presentations, keynotes and workshops covering a wide range of sectors, as well as an exhibition.

Retrofitting testing - what is it?

It is nice to meet new terms and keywords relating testing. This morning I got a question how I am planning to do 'regression as part of Code Retrofitting testing'.   Have never heard of retrofitting testing before, so did some googling. My previous employer organised internal security training for QAs. As coming not from development background, they were good, but too tough for me. There is really good free resource on pluralsight.com by Troy Hunt " Hack yourself first ". It is declared for developers to deepen their knowledge of security. Myself I found it really cool as the author explains everything clearly with good examples.
